Our Commitment
Frela is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What We Do
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content, including product images.
- Ensure sufficient colour contrast throughout the site.
- Make all functionality available from a keyboard.
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for screen reader navigation.
- Provide clear, descriptive link text and form labels.
- Ensure the site is responsive and works across different devices and screen sizes.
- Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to identify and resolve these issues. Known areas for improvement include:
- Some older product images may lack detailed alt text — we are updating these on an ongoing basis.
- Some third-party content (e.g. embedded videos or payment forms) may not fully conform to WCAG standards.
